Las Vegas’ Newest Diva Partners with Heaven Can Wait Animal Society for a Sunday of Music

LAS VEGAS, NV– Rose Kinglsey, Las Vegas’ newest Diva, will wow audiences with her Johnny Mercer Tribute at the Summerlin Library Performing Arts Center on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 3pm. Kingsley has partnered up with the local animal welfare nonprofit Heaven Can Wait Animal Society for this show, donating all net proceeds to this organization and their worthy mission.

Kingsley is known for her storytelling and her 4-Octave-range, rich and sultry voice. She is able to tell the story of the songs she sings in a way that taps into the intimate side of her artistry and touches the heart and soul of her audience. After her debut at Birdland Jazz Club in NYC, she was called “the Female Sinatra” by New York Music Critics.

This Las Vegas Diva is honored to perform this tribute to Johnny Mercer, a composer, Oscar, and Academy Award winner, and lyricist of over 1,500 songs from the 1930s to the 1970s. His songs “Moon River”, “Autumn Leaves”, and “Days of Wine and Roses” were among the most successful of the time.

Kingsley is partnering up with Heaven Can Wait Animal Society to make her March 13th show a fundraising event for something she is passionate about animal welfare. Heaven Can Wait’s mission is to end the unnecessary euthanasia of companion animals and community cats and has become a leader in the city in spay and neuter services. They have performed procedures on over 160,000 dogs and cats, keeping an estimated half a million off streets and out of shelters.

“Rose’s tribute isn’t just a delightful fundraising opportunity for us,” said Kelly Sheehan, Heaven Can Wait’s Community Engagement Manager. “It’s a chance to educate about what we can offer our community. We are always looking for ways to let people know that we provide high-quality, low-cost spays and neuters for their furry family members. The more people know, the more pets will receive these life-saving services.”

To learn more about the event and to purchase tickets, go to Tickets are available for $40 on EventBright, or can be purchased by calling (760)636-0008. Seating is limited. Arrive before the show begins to participate in an exciting raffle in which all proceeds go to benefit Heaven Can Wait Animal Society.
